Build out a Toyo Omega 45D 4x5 View Camera - Just add bellows

For those of you that may not know, the Omega-View Line of Large Format cameras were made by Toyo for Omega.  This particular model does not use interchangeable bellows, but has the bellows glued to the standards.  Also the 4x5 Graflok/Ground Glass holder is fixed with screws, however the ground glass assembly can be removed and can revolves 360°.  The lens boards used are Toyo standard 158 mm x 158 mm.

I don't currently have a replacement bellows on hand, so I am selling this as is with the old bellows included.

Both of the bellows metal frames are included as well as all of the screws.

Being that my intentions were to replace the bellows, the seating surface of the standards were cleaned of the former adhesive.

Overall, this camera is in great shape shape.  All movements and knobs function as they should. In my opinion the rear focus lever is not as tight as the front, however it locks down tight enough.

The focusing mechanisms ways were tightened via the set screws.

There is some slight paint loss on the ground glass frame.

Cambo 4x5 Normal Bellows

This bellows is the Normal Bellows that should have come with your Cambo 4x5 SC, Legend, Ultima, or Calumet 45N Large Format View Camera.

If you need a bellows then this is typically the bellows one would start with, allowing about 300mm to 400mm of extension.  When collapsed, or closed the extension is minimally 50mm.

My light test is to go outdoors and view the bellows in the bright sunlight.  Upon testing this bellows, I did see a few minimal pinholes, but not enough to render this bellows useless.  I have produced many images with bellows having pinholes and have not had a problem yet.

On one of my 8x10 systems the bellows are completely torn open, however I merely cover the bellows with a small darkcloth.

One last testimony on pinholes: I shoot my eBay images with an EOS Digital Camera mounted on a view camera.  On one particular day I changed from a standard bellows to a wide angle bellows.  Maybe 5 days later I noticed that I had completely forgotten to attach the bellows to the rear standard.  This is a true story.

I say all of this not to convince you to purchase a defective product, but considering the availability of Large Format Gear, something is better than nothing.  Also the classic metal frames are becoming rather hard to come by.

SINAR Rail Extension 6"/15cm (Black)

This is the 6" extension rail for SINAR View and Field cameras, Models F, F1, F2, C, C2, P, P2, X and Norma.

Sometimes you need a shorter length of monorail extension, allowing you to get in closer to the subject being photographed.

This extension rail is in good condition.  The rail was tested and functions as it should.  There is minor paint loss at the bottom of the rail, as shown in the second Gallery Pic.
